You will be guided through a calming sequence of passive, floor based yin postures, each held for several minutes to softly open the body and access the deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue. These grounding shapes help release built up tension and gently settle the nervous system, preparing you for the stillness of yoga nidra. The poses are typically held for 3 – 5 minutes.
Yoga nidra, often called “yogic sleep” is a guided meditation that takes us beneath the surface of the body and mind using breath awareness and body scans.
Suitable for all levels, including pregnancy.
