Ashtanga Fundamentals is a shortened version of the traditional led practice, designed to introduce you to the essential postures that build strength, flexibility, and focus.
You’ll move through key standing and seated poses from the Ashtanga Primary Series including:
Padangusthasana, or Big Toe Pose
Padahastasana, or Hand to Foot Pose
Utthitatrikonasana, or Extended Triangle Pose A & B
Utthitaparsvakonasana, or Extended Side Angle Pose A & B
Prasaritapadottanasana, or Spread Foot Stretching Pose A, B, C & D
Parsvottanasana, or Sideways Stretching Pose
Each class includes a chance to workshop one or two postures, allowing you to refine your technique and deepen your understanding.
This class is suitable for beginner Ashtanga practitioners who have completed our Intro to Ashtanga Course or experienced practitioners wanting to revisit the basics with mindful attention.
