Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic practice which moves through a set sequence of postures, synchronising breath and movement, known as Vinyasa. The flow (Vinyasa) between each posture is an integral part of the practice designed to build internal heat to help purify the body. Be prepared to sweat.
In an Ashtanga Led class students will be led through the same sequence of postures that start with sun salutations before moving on to standing postures, seated postures, the finishing sequence and finally relaxation. For experienced Ashtanga practitioners: this class is full primary, up to Setu Bandasana.
